February 19, 2019 - I-PEX's new CABLINE-UM ultra-fine coaxial cable connector features 360° EMI shielding to protect components from noise and noise in high-speed transmission environments. The 90° out-of-line vertical plug-in style makes it easy to place anywhere on the PCB to increase your design options. An optional mechanical lock secures the seat and does not easily detach from the PCB. In addition, high-speed terminal contact points are designed for 20+ Gbps data rates for the latest Thunderbolt 3 (20 Gbps), eDP (HBR3 8.1 Gbps), and USB 3.1 (10 Gbps) high data rate standards.

This connector is 0.4mm pitch and ultra-small size. The mating height is 2.2 +/- 0.15 mm (with lock cover) and 2.0 +/- 0.15 mm (without lock cover). The electromagnetic interference shielding characteristics and multi-point grounding design make the connector compatible with the internal anti-noise layer layer of the device and meet the high-speed transmission standard. These features eliminate the shielding tape and/or the separate shield for noise control.

The CABLINE-UM connector is available in standard 30 pin and 40 pin options. Custom pin numbers range from 0-60. We also offer horizontally plugged CABLINE-CA II with shielded connector.
